We moved to Priory Farm, Appledore in October 1979 as a tenant of the Crown Estates.  Since that time the farm has grown to include land at Snave and Ivychurch, bringing the Farm Estate up to 2000 acres.

Priory Farm lies to the south of the village of Appledore adjoining the Royal Military Canal.   It is between 2ft and 4ft above sea level on some of the most fertile land in the country.

Turkey production started 20 years ago at Priory Farm and since those small beginnings the Turkey Enterprise has grown.

At the beginning all our turkeys were white barn reared but in 1997 we introduced bronze free-range turkeys to Priory Farm.   Since then bronze turkeys make up half the turkeys reared.   Turkey rearing has become a passion for us and we take great pride in the way we care for our turkeys and the environment in which they live.

Any time from August onwards you can pass Priory Farm and see the free range bronze turkeys roaming freely and basking in the sun in their paddock.
